Aligarh brings a confident, weighty presence that commands attention in any layout. Named Aligarh and crafted by namelatype, this slab serif strikes that balance between contemporary edge and structural substance that feels intentional without being trendy. It performs equally well across boutique book covers, high-end product packaging, restaurant identity systems, and editorial design work where the type needs to carry real presence. The rounded brackets deliver character without compromising readability, giving you a typeface that's substantial enough for commanding headlines but measured enough not to overwhelm the surrounding page.

The full family spans 18 weights distributed across 9 carefully scaled sizes, providing genuine flexibility for editorial projects and branding systems. OpenType features, ligatures, and alternates let you adjust the tone and personality depending on your specific context and creative needs. Magazine layouts, identity lockups, luxury packaging systems, and hospitality menus all benefit from its structured sensibility. The slab design reads as intentional and contemporary, performing just as convincingly in print as it does on screen, which matters when you're working across multiple media.

Pair Aligarh with a quiet sans-serif for body text to maximize the impact and let the slab carry the visual storytelling work. You'll find Aligarh on Creative Fabrica.
