Imagine a wedding invitation suite where guests see handwritten flourishes on cream cardstock, or a boutique cosmetics label where the brand name curves elegantly across packaging. Created by Sudtipos, Zulia Pro is a script-handwritten typeface born as Joluvian's first typography venture, drawing inspiration from two calligraphic traditions: the structured flow of italics and the spontaneous movement of brush pen work.

The design started with simple, marked strokes on paper, made with brushes and markers, then expanded into a complete alphabet where each letter has multiple connected variations. This flexibility is the real strength: you can mix and match these forms based on layout needs. That makes Zulia Pro work beautifully for restaurant menus and wine lists, greeting cards and stationery sets, boutique branding and packaging, and vintage product listings on Etsy. The weight and contrast feel substantial without becoming heavy or ornate, and the lower x-height adds personality and presence on the page.

Alejandro Paul contributed his expertise during the collaborative refinement stage, shaping the typeface into its final form. Zulia Pro includes multiple weights and alternate characters, giving you options for different contexts and sizes.
