Vacation, a slab serif from william jhordy, breaks the typeface mold by pairing thick, solid letterforms with a distinctly handwritten character. The strokes feel confident and casual at once, capturing that sweet spot between playful and polished. Rather than rigid geometry, the forms have warmth and movement. This gives the font a personality that reads as both modern and nostalgic, making it equally at home on a vintage poster or a contemporary design project.

The font shines for holiday card suites, where its cheerful weight and rounded details set a warm, inviting tone. Wedding invitation collections gain warmth from its friendly, approachable character. Sublimation projects (personalized mug wraps, custom t-shirt designs) let the font's bold strokes stand out beautifully against colored surfaces. DIY Christmas sign work and beauty product packaging also showcase Vacation's charm, as the letterforms hold their weight whether rendered large or small. Even for gift tag designs and seasonal packaging, the typeface delivers personality with confidence.

Vacation suits designers, crafters, and small-business owners looking for genuine character without pretension. It's the kind of typeface people choose because it feels like part of their brand voice. Grab Vacation on Creative Fabrica and watch how it brings warmth to your next project.
