This is a script that brings warmth and personality to your lettering. Shikatta, designed by Grezline Studio, is a handwritten font with genuine flow and character that catches the eye without demanding attention through novelty.

Script fonts like this shine in specific contexts where a personal, crafted feel really matters to your audience. Wedding invitation suites are a natural fit when you want guests to sense the care behind the stationery. Etsy product labels for small-batch goods, artisanal items, and indie makers benefit from its approachable warmth. Personalized greeting cards with real presence stand out against mass-produced alternatives. Hand-lettered signage for boutique retail spaces, studios, and independent shops also works beautifully. The natural rhythm of the letterforms makes it feel authentic without tipping into overly formal or decorative territory.

The script has enough personality to carry a design on its own, but it also plays well with others. Pair Shikatta with a clean sans-serif for headers and body copy to create contrast and readability, balancing the script's expressiveness with legibility. For display-heavy work where you want full attention on the lettering, let it run solo. You can find Shikatta on Creative Fabrica and start bringing a human touch to projects that deserve it.
