You're lettering an album cover and need the fluidity of real handwriting without the time investment of actually sitting down with pen and paper for hours. Merthy, designed by madeDeduk, gives you exactly that: a script font that captures the warmth and personality of genuine penmanship, with enough character to feel intentional.

This font works beautifully for wedding invitation suites where elegance is essential, product labels for boutique skincare brands seeking personality, album artwork for indie musicians, and newsletter headers that prefer a genuine human touch over corporate sterility. The handwriting style reads as authentic without veering into sloppiness, which is that exact balance most designers hunt for. You get more than 350 glyphs packed with alternative uppercase and lowercase versions, plus ligatures that let you customize letter flow and connection. International characters are included, so language support won't be a limiting factor on whatever project you're building.

Merthy displays beautifully at large sizes, which is precisely where a handwriting font like this establishes its value. The alternates give you flexibility to swap letterforms and create unique rhythms within your text. Find it on Creative Fabrica and begin layering those alternates into your designs to get the exact feel you're after.
