Picture a vintage Buenos Aires storefront with hand-lettered window signage catching afternoon light. That's the spirit Alejandro Paul captured with Candy Script, his thick brushstroke font from Sudtipos that channels Argentina's design heritage. What started as a study of traditional window-painting lettering evolved into something with its own character, a script that feels handmade but reads remarkably clean and legible even at small sizes.

The real draw here is the density of alternates baked into the font. Nearly every letter comes with multiple variations, giving you over 600 characters total to mix and match as you work. Wine bottle labels, vintage concert posters, craft business cards, ornate menu boards, and upscale cosmetics branding all shine when you're layering these glyphs. You can swap between alternates to add visual interest and personality without swapping fonts entirely, which keeps your workflow straightforward but your output feeling custom-made.

At larger display sizes, Candy Script's brushed weight holds up beautifully; the thick strokes and natural curvature give the letters real presence without feeling heavy or dense. Boutique clothing labels, restaurant menus, and DIY event signage all come alive when you layer these alternates to match your vision.
