Buddies by Guille Vizzari is a personality-driven script font rooted in brush pen sketches and hand lettering. The typeface captures the raw energy and immediacy of sign painting, complete with intentional quirks and irregular characteristics that feel playful without sacrificing readability. Its variable x-height across the lowercase set creates natural rhythm and movement in short text passages, while the daring uppercase letterforms embrace unconventional shapes that work beautifully in all-caps settings and headlines.

This script excels wherever individual character and warmth matter more than sterile consistency. Boutique product labels benefit tremendously from its friendly energy, greeting card suites gain real personality from its quirky letterforms, and DIY craft signage comes alive with Buddies' hand-drawn sensibility. It's equally at home in indie fashion hang tags, vintage-inspired packaging designs, and editorial headlines that need to break free from cookie-cutter fonts. The variable lowercase x-height combined with that distinctive uppercase set gives you real flexibility to mix case treatments, build visual hierarchy, and create interest across a project without overcomplicating your type choices. Use it loose and expressive for warmth, or controlled and measured for graphic impact.

Grab Buddies on Creative Fabrica and tap into that hand-lettered energy and warmth for your next design project.
