There's something inviting about a hand-drawn script that feels both polished and personal. Brillion, designed by Subectype, delivers exactly that feeling with its flowing letterforms and genuinely readable character.

This script shines for wedding invitation suites, where guests appreciate letterforms that look thoughtfully written rather than mechanically precise. Event programs, place cards, and intimate stationery all gain warmth and presence from it. You'll find it equally effective on boutique packaging labels or Etsy product designs where that handmade quality builds customer trust and signals authentic craftsmanship. The letterforms strike a balance: clear enough to work at small sizes without becoming ornamental or fussy, which opens up practical applications well beyond purely decorative uses. DIY craft projects, personalized gift tags, and even scrapbook titles all work nicely here.

What makes Brillion different is how it functions across contexts. You can use it for headlines, special moments in layouts, or standalone display work. Pair it with a straightforward sans-serif (Montserrat, Open Sans, or anything with clean lines) when you need both script and body text working together. That combination gives you personality from the script and legibility from the sans-serif. Grab Brillion from Creative Fabrica to add it to your font library.
