Badast is a handwritten script typeface designed by Muhamad Junaid of MJType, delivering an organic, friendly character through 68 distinct glyphs that capture the natural warmth of informal handwritten letterforms.

The font's approachable, loose style serves wedding invitations where a personal, heartfelt quality brings ceremony details to life, product label designs for small craft businesses and artisanal brands seeking authenticity, social media graphics that benefit from genuine warmth and individual character, and hand-lettered greeting cards and announcement designs. With support for 197+ Latin-based languages, Badast works effectively across international creative projects without compromising its characterful aesthetic. The typeface maintains excellent readability at modest sizes while preserving the expressive, sketchy qualities that make handwritten scripts so compelling to audiences seeking authenticity over mechanical precision. Its relaxed rhythm encourages viewers to slow down and engage with text as if it were written by hand, which strengthens connection in a world of standardized typography.

Pair Badast with a clean geometric sans-serif to establish clear visual hierarchy, allowing the script to lead as a decorative voice while your sans-serif handles supporting information and body text. Available free for both personal and commercial use, this font opens accessible possibilities for professional designers and independent creators alike.
