Blue Highway is a sans-serif design inspired by the FHWA Series of Standard Alphabets, popularly known as Highway Gothic, from the United States Department of Transportation. Since the mid-twentieth century, it has been the most regularly used typeface for road signs in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Turkey, Spain, Venezuela, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Mongolia, and New Zealand. Most Latin-based European writing systems are supported, including the following languages.
